Travaini Self Cooling centrifugal pump series TCD for heat transfer and/or vegetable oils require no cooling even with temperatures up to 320º (608ºF) process fluid. These centrifugal pumps have high efficiency with minimal product heat loss since no cooling water is used. Maintenance is easy with back pull-out design that allows bearing housing and rotating element removal without disturbing the piping. Shaft support is by means of heavy duty oil lubricated ball bearings. NO shaft sleeves are used. Unique design features allow use of economical and reliable single mechanical seals even though product temperatures can reach 320ºC. The TCD hot oil pumps may be used in heating oil installations with positive or negative suction pressures as required in industries such as chemical, rubber and plastic, food, asphalt heating, paper and laundry. |
